Since 2023, we have proudly been a certified B Corporation—a milestone that underscores our commitment to environmental, social and financial sustainability.
Being a B Corp means adhering to the highest standards in social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
The B Corporation Certification, awarded by B Lab, is a globally recognized standard given to companies that meet the rigorous requirements of the B Impact Assessment (BIA).
For ROUTE220, being a B Corp is more than just a title—it’s about integrating sustainability into every strategic decision, project, service, and our daily operations.
With this certification, we aspire to inspire change within the green mobility sector, demonstrating that innovation and growth can go hand in hand with fleet decarbonization, environmental protection, and the promotion of collective well-being.
Promoting Sustainable Development
In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to guide and measure the global efforts of governments, civil society, and the private sector toward achieving sustainable development by 2030.
At ROUTE220, we are proud to actively champion these principles by contributing through:

● Protecting the environment in all our operations and projects
● Promoting sustainable tourism
As part of this commitment, we have shared our project on Tourism for SDGs, an innovative platform developed by the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to advance sustainable tourism and align with the SDGs.
Our objectives
5. Gender Equality
We are committed to avoiding any form of discrimination within the company, which is why we have implemented policies to protect our employees.
Specifically, our gender equality policy ensures an inclusive work environment that provides equal opportunities and conditions for career advancement and remuneration.
7. Renewable Energy
We source only clean, certified energy from renewable sources for all public charging stations in our network. This contributes not only to Goal 7 but also to Goal 13, relating to the greenhouse gas emissions indicator.
We also believe that our activities can contribute to reducing per capita household energy consumption. This indicator measures the amount of electricity and heat each citizen consumes at home, excluding energy used for transportation. How? Through Vehicle-To-Home technology, which allows your home to draw power stored in your electric car. This optimizes energy consumption between the car and the home.
9. Innovation and Infrastructure
We are constantly working to provide innovative, comprehensive, and reliable services to both business clients and end users.
This is why we invest daily in Research and Development (indicator: gross domestic expenditure on R&D by sector).
We significantly contribute to reducing the average CO2 emissions per km from new cars year after year, as we operate a fully electric company fleet. Business trips and travel are carried out entirely with electric vehicles or public transportation. With this indicator, we also contribute to Goals 12 and 13.
11. Sustainable cities and communities
We believe in sustainable urban development, promoting the sharing economy and the adoption of electric vehicles and travelers as ways to improve the environment.
Through our activities, we encourage the development of electric mobility by installing charging points. Over time, this leads to a reduction in fine particulate matter (PM10) in the air, improving urban air quality and citizens’ quality of life (exposure to air pollution from particulate matter).
The table below illustrates how atmospheric particulate matter decreased between 2011 and 2017. This is primarily due to the advent and growth of electric mobility.
12. Responsible Consumption
We manage resources wisely, avoiding unnecessary waste and adopting cost-effective and efficient behaviors.
We actively contribute to this goal, as well as to Goal 9, through the indicator of average CO2 emissions per km for new cars. Our fleet is fully electric and is used daily by employees for business travel.
13. Climate Action
We make sustainable choices every day, reducing consumption and CO2 emissions while minimizing our infrastructure and services’ impact on the environment.
Specifically, we use only clean, certified energy from renewable sources for all public charging stations in our network (greenhouse gas emissions indicator, the same as Goal 7). With this indicator, we also contribute to reducing the average CO2 emissions per km.
