ROUTE220 BdS 2024 GRI

ROUTE220 achieves a milestone with its 2024 Sustainability Report, drafted according to GRI standards, reaffirming its commitment as a Benefit Company and B Corp to the transition toward sustainable electric mobility. This document marks a step forward in transparency and measurability of ESG impacts, highlighting concrete performance in energy efficiency, emission reductions, and social value generation.

The GRI 2024 milestone

ROUTE220’s 2024 Sustainability Report (including FLEET220) was voluntarily prepared according to GRI Standards (version effective from January 1, 2023), adopting the “with reference to” approach to ensure international comparability and adherence to materiality principles. It represents a unique element in the electric mobility sector, stemming from a structured analysis with stakeholders (employees, partners, suppliers) that identified key themes such as energy, emissions, diversity, and governance. Approved on January 26, 2026, it is available for download on the company websites.

Positive environmental impacts

Total energy consumption amounted to 234 GJ, with energy intensity reduced to 34.6 GJ/M€ (-15% vs. 2023) despite revenue growth to 6.75M€ (+21%). Scope 2 location-based emissions dropped to 15 tCO2eq (-12%), with emission intensity at 2.25 tCO2eq/M€ (-26%), thanks to a full-electric fleet and 42% certified renewable energy. Through evway, the Group delivered 27,939 MWh of charging (+68%), saving 17.6 million kgCO2eq (+77%), accelerating the decarbonization of European transport.

Social and governance performance

With 13 employees (38% women), ROUTE220 recorded an outgoing turnover rate of 15%, average training hours of 68 per employee (+175% total hours), and zero accidents. 89% of the generated economic value (6.75M€) was distributed to stakeholders, supported by welfare policies, inclusion (UNI PdR 125:2022 certification), and collaboration with the Sant’Egidio Community for refugees. Governance, with a gender-balanced Board of Directors and Code of Ethics, integrates ESG into decision-making processes, with no corruption cases or non-compliances.

Future outlook

This milestone strengthens ROUTE220’s role as an enabler of low-carbon, people-centric, B Corp-certified mobility, with ambitious goals to measure and amplify positive impacts on the environment, communities, and businesses. GRI reporting evolves stakeholder dialogue, guiding strategies for sustainable and innovative growth in the EV sector.
